About the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation
The Blue Jay Jazz Foundation (BJJF), which produces the annual Blue Jay Jazz Festival, is a nonprofit 501c3 organization founded in 2007. Its mission is to build music appreciation and promote audience development to secure the future of jazz as a performing art, and support music education in the San Bernardino Mountain communities. Our Education Programs are designed in coordination with music directors of middle schools, high schools, and local colleges and universities.
Thursday and Friday the event location is Tavern Bay, 28399 N Shore Rd, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352, overlooking beautiful Lake Arrowhead. Saturday the event will be at the Lake Arrowhead Resort's Ballroom, 27984 CA-189, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
The gate opens at 4:30 pm on both Thursday and Friday. It might get a bit chilly after sunset so dress accordingly. Some folks like to bring a flashlight for the walk to their car. On Thursday, the California Baptist University Jazz Ensemble will perform at 5:30. Friday's performance starts at 5:45.
Please select your tickets carefully. Tickets purchased for Blue Jay Jazz Festival concerts are non-refundable, except in the event of a cancelled performance.Full tables can be reserved. Individual seats cannot be reserved, they are on a 'first come, first seated' basis. NO food or beverages will be sold at the event so bring your own!
Please bring a flashlight and a jacket as it gets dark and colder after sunset!
